►Teaching objectives：

At the end of the lesson students will be able to：

◇知识与技能: I. Get students to master the basic structure and contents of the application letter by analyzing a model letter. II. Practice making comments on some samples and rewrite the sentences.

III. Enable students to know how to revise their writing by improving the structure and contents properly. IV.Being capable of self-evaluating and partner-evaluating. ◇过程与方法: Revise their own drafts by peer/group editing and individual evaluation；conduct individual thinking, peer discussion and peer/group editing ◇情感态度价值观

Develop logic thinking skills; Have awareness of peer/group cooperation ►Teaching and learning important points : Revise their own drafts by individual thinking and peer discussion. ►Teaching and learning difficult points : Improve the students’ skills and strategies of writing an application letter.
