二、教学重难点(Teaching points and difficulties) 能熟练运用句型结构“主语+be动词+动词ing+其他，but 主语+动词+其他”描述当某事正在发生时另一件事突然发生。

四、教学过程

Step 1: Warm-up 1、Greeting

2、出示一组动词，请学生给出其现在分词(本课出现的词)

Step 2: Lead-in Look and chant . 观看活动一动画，回答问题：

What can you see in the picture ? 2.

What are they doing ? The bell is rings . The dog is barking

Little Tom is crying Teach the words :ring and bark Step 3: Presentation 1、

Look and listen, then find out the sentences like “…isVing…,

but …. ….” 观看动画，初步感知课文。

2、分段学习

（1）①听第一段课文录音，回答问题：Who is having a birthday party? What happened when Daming is playing the suona ? 用图片和文字进行课件展示，并教授play作为演奏意思的用法,并引导学生注意乐器前面加the,如play the +乐器, play +球类

②幻灯片展示有关乐器唢呐的知识。

（2）①听第二段课文录音，回答问题：

What happened when Daming is playing the suona again? Who come in? （3）①听第三段录音，小组合作完成课件上的填空，后订正答案。
