教学目标：

知识目标：掌握四会单词及句型How many...are there?

能力目标：学生能用How many...are there? 句型交流；

情感目标：培养学生在生活中关心爱护动物的意识。

教学重点：能正确地掌握本课所学的单词及句型。

教学难点：能够运用How many _____ are there?

来正确问动物的数量。

教学过程：

Step1.Warming up（热身）

1.Greetings

T: Good morning, boys and girls.

S: Good morning, teacher. T: Are you ready for English class? Ss: Yes. T: Ok, let’s go.

2.First,Let’s review the numbers . 3.Now,let's learn Lesson 9 How Many？

Step2.Presentation 1.T:Look at this picture. How many monkeys are there?

S:One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten. There

are ten monkeys!

T:Good. How many birds are there?

S: One, two. There are two birds!

T:Yes. How many pandas are there?

S: One, two, three. There are three pandas!

T:同学们观察一下How many

_____ are there?有什么特点？

S: How many后面跟可数名词的复数形式

T:Good. 教师边读边在黑板上进行板书：

How many _____ are there? There are_____(数字) _____. 或者直接答数字。

T:讲解there be句型

Step3.Practice in pairs and present the dialogues. S1: How many

1.听录音

让学生不看歌词听录音。让学生认真听并尽力找出他们已知的英语单词。

2.看书

让学生看着图画和歌词。让他们找出他们刚才在这首歌谣中听到的单词。

教学生说几个出现的生词。

3.跟读

再次播放录音，学生一起跟读，学习歌谣。

4.练习

师生互动，采取不同的形式做第二部分的chant练习。如分组说，男女生交换说等。
