The Teaching Plan for writing a letter for help The Date: March 28, 2017, Teacher: Dejun-Yang The Teaching Material: writing a letter for help Teaching Aims: To provide comparatively easy access for the students to write a letter for help. Knowledge aims: Get the students to know how to write a letter for help Ability aims: Develop the students’ writing ability. Emotional aims: 1. Enable the students to know how to express appropriately in a letter for help 2. Enable the students to enjoy expressing in English. Teaching Important Points: Develop students’ writing ability by helping the Ss to get familiar with the writing process of a letter for help. Teaching Difficult Points: 1. Make sure that the Ss really bear the contents of the period in mind. 2. Enable the Ss to figure out how to ask for help, the framework of a letter for help, how to polish the sentences in a composition, how to use some linking words. Teaching Methods: 1. Brainstorming. 2. Practicing independently. 3. Cooperative Learning. Teaching Aid: A computer, a projector and the Bb. Teaching Procedures: Step1.Greetings Greet the whole class so that they get full preparations for the period. Step 2 .Lead in Play a short video about asking for help. Step 3: Pre-writing 1.
