教材及学情分析

本课时的教学内容为PEP四年级下册第三单元Weather Part B Let's talk。对话围绕两个不同国家不同城市的小朋友Mark和Chen Jie在电话上交流各自所在地的天气情况而展开。对话内容涉及What's the weather like in New York/...? It's ... Is it ...? Yes, it is./No, it isn't. It's...degrees.这几个主要句型，要求学生能够理解并且在真实语境中正确运用句型。全篇对话，要求学生正确模仿语音语调。其中，What's the weather like in New York/...? It's ...为主要句型。答句在A Let's learn中已经学过，问句应为操练的重点。句型Is it...? Yes, it is./No, it isn't.对于学生而言并不陌生。另外，对话里出现的degree和rainy这两个生词要求学生做到理解和听说认读，发音到位。Let’s play板块要求学生能够了解并认读London, Sydney, Toronto, Beijing, New York这5个城市及所在的国家，并且能根据这些城市的不同天气情况进行交流。5个国家名称学生在三年级已经接触过，五个城市中，Toronto 为新词，London, Sydney, New York在第二单元的Let's play部分出现过。对于出现在Let’s play中5个图片上的天气图标，要求学生能听懂会读sunny, cloudy, windy, rainy这四个词，并运用到对话的语境中以丰富产出。

（1）Weather in Jun’an

Look, who is he？This is Bruce Lee Paradise. where is it? Yes, it’s in Jun’an.

T：What’s the weather like in Jun’an? (板书句型）Read after me！(教读两遍提问一个学生）

Ss：It’s sunny/...

T：Yes, it’s sunny in Jun’an. And It’s 30 degrees.(教读：degrees）

It’s 30 degrees, it’s hot.

We can say it’s hot and sunny in Jun’an. It’s 30 degrees.

S: It’s__in __. It’s ___degrees.（板书）

（师生AB配合读）

（2）Weather in other places T: We know it’s hot and sunny in Jun’an. How about other places in China? Look, this is a map of China. Do you know these cities? They are...(带读一遍地方名）

What’s the weather like in Harbin? Look!

T: How about HK? Is it cold？

S：It’s hot in HK. It’s 30 degrees.
