2、理解Let me check the map online.句子的意思。

教学过程：

Step1:Inducts the teaching

1. Greetings.

2. Free talk.

3. Review: Use’What are you going to do after school?’ to ask and answer. Step2:Presentation and practice

1.T: I like flowers. I’m going to plant some flowers. But I don’t have flower seeds. Where can I get some flower seeds?

S:In the flower shop.

T:Read after me” In the flower shop”

2.T: I’m going to the flower shop. But I don’t know the way. Can you tell me the way to the nearest flower shop. Today we’re going to talk about how to ask the way.The teacher shows the topic”Let me check the map online”

3.T:So, where is the nearest flower shop?(Read the sentence twice and Ss read it ) What’s the meaning of nearest?

The teacher teaches the meaning of nearest.

Practise “near--the nearest ;

long--the longest

4.T: If you don’t know the way, what can you do? Discuss in groups.

S1:We can ask somebody.

S2:We can call somebody.

T: We can check the map online.( Writ this sentence on the blackboard.)

5.T:David is helping his grandma to find the way to the nearest flower shop. Let’s see what he is going to do. Listen to the tape twice and answer the question: How can Grandma get to the nearest flower shop? Discuss and answer.

S:Go along this street. Turn right on the second street.

6.Let Ss listen to the tape and draw the branching program.
