Unit5 my mother is busy 一、教学目标：

1. 能听懂,会读,理解Read, think and answer 中的短文内容。 2. 能够一般现在时描述他人(第三人称)的生活。

3. 能与小组合作完成Play, write and report 部分的综合活动。

4.学唱Let’s sing 中的歌曲。

二、学情分析：

六年级的学生已经有了一定的英语基础,他们探索知识的欲望很强烈,并且有着很强的表现欲,所以本课采用有趣的教学形式,保持并提高学生学习英语的兴趣。

三、教学重点及难点：

1.能读懂Read, think and answer 中的课文。

2. 难点:会灵活运用一般现在时描述他人(第三人称)的生活。

四、教学过程：

（一）【导入】Warming up and revision 1 Greeting with students . 2 Say a chant together . 3 Make a dialogue 设计意图:(让学生齐说歌谣,表演对话,使学生快速地进入学习英语的良好状态,即达到了课前热身的效果,又复习了学过的知识。)

(二）Presentation and drill

1. The teacher shows the sentence :Li Wei’s father is a teacher .Let students to guess :What does Li Wei’s father do on weekends ? 设计意图:利用学过的句子引出新知识,有利于培养学生直接运用的能力。

2 .The teacher shows the cards :plays basketball, helps him with his homework ,go to the park , helps Li Wei’s mother cook dinner . 设计意图:(让学生先试着读,给学生思考的空间,老师再领读,这样可以灵活的着重练习。) 3. Listen to the tape and follow to read . Read by yourself and find out the difficult words . Read the text in groups . Answer two questions . 设计意图:(通过听音跟读,既锻炼了学生的听力,又锻炼了学生的口语表达能力。

4. Practice (1). Show pictures and ask two questions. Guess who is he ? What does he do after school ? (2). Make dialogues by using :goes swimming , plays ping pong with , sweeps the floor , plays the piano , goes shopping .

(3) Write the sentences . Example : Billy goes swimming after school . (4 )Sing a song 设计意图:(根据喜欢游戏的特点,密切联系学生实际,使学生在快乐中学习英语。) 5. Consolidation and extension 1 Sum up the main points . 2 Homework. Read the text . Write the phrases in Part 4 . 设计意图:(学生总结既锻炼了学生的表达能力,又能了解学生的掌握情况。)
