Teaching aims: Get the students to learn the -ing form as the Subject and Object To get the students to learn some new words and expressions by heart. Teaching procedures: Step 1 Revision 1.

Check the number of the students to see whether all the students are present. 2.

Go over the following new words and expressions by having a dictation Step 2 Guessing game

Ask the students to guess the words according to the meanings. Step 3 Using language

Ask the students to complete the passage with the words and phrases in their proper forms

2.常用-ing形式作主语的句型有：

It is no good/use doing sth. It is worthwhile doing sth. It is useless doing sth. It is no fun doing sth. 3.在介词后常用动词的-ing形式作宾语

4.有些动词后只能用动词的-ing形式作宾语
