一、教学目标

1. 知识目标

a. 普通学生能在教师的帮助下阅读文本，理解故事的大概意思。

b. 中等学生能理解并朗读故事。

c. 优秀学生能通过阅读故事复习巩固本单元所学的语言，能根据教材及相关课外知识，把三种事物在过去、现在和未来的变化进行复述。

2. 能力目标

练习运用句型There were…. There are…. There will be….来表达过去、现在和将来的变化。

3. 情感目标

培养学生保护环境、保护地球的意识。

1. Warm up

(1) Say hello Hello, boys and girls. I’m Cherry. Hello everyone.

(2) Sing a song “Changes in me”

T: Now let’s sing a song together. 2.

Pre-reading 读前：引出change，练习讨论，导入故事。

Talk about changes

T: Look at photos. It’s me.

Before, I didn’t wear glasses. Now, I wear glasses. It’s my change. Before,I had long hair. Now, I have short hair. It’s my change.

What about your change? Please use the sentence structures “Before, I …. Now, I ….”（板书：Before, I …. Now, I ….）

You can use these words here.

3. While-reading 读中：理解故事内容，尝试复述故事。

T: Toady we will learn a story about changes.

(1) Watch and answer

A. Now watch the cartoon and try to understand the story. Please think “Can you number the changes?”

Now work in four and talk about “Can you number the changes?”

Now let’s talk about the people’s change.

T: Look at the pictures. Who are they? Where did they live? Look at this picture. What is he doing?

Now, look at the picture. What is this? What can you see? So we say: There are many things to help people cook. （板书：There are….）Do you know why cavemen ate raw meat? Because there were not many things to help people cook. （板书：There were (not)….）

Look here. What’s this? What is he doing? Can you guess what also can he do? So we call him house robot. So in 2050, there will be house robots.（板书：There will be…）

T: Now let’s fill in a table. I need some Ss to help me. Who wants to help me? OK. The two Ss and I will do it on the blackboard, you will look and read, OK? Follow me and let’s retell the story together. OK? （设计意图：通过找两位同学和老师共同完成表格，一方面帮助学生理解和复述故事，另一方面为下面同学自己填表格做铺垫。）

本节课主要通过阅读一个有关变化的故事，分别讲了people’s change, the earth’s change and the whales’ change。通过对比古、今和将来，练习学过的句型“There were …. There are…. There will be….”

这个故事教育我们要保护环境、保护地球。

保护我们的地球”为题，搜集资料。做成手抄报。

（3）选做1：Write a story about change.（仿写一个关于变化的故事）

（4）选做2：Retell the story for your family.（给家人复述这个故事）

（设计意图：分层次布置作业，让学生都有所收获，注重基础的同时也注重语言的灵活运用。）

六、课后反思

本节课我设计了唱英文歌、操练句型、比赛、角色扮演、复述故事等内容，其中有师生互动、也有生生互动。这些活动都在一定程度上激发了学生学习英语的兴趣。另外，针对不同层次的学生，我设计了不同的教学目标，让学生在上完这节课，都能有所收获。最后，在课堂结束时，我对课堂内容进行了延伸，启发学生们要保护环境，保护地球。
