唤起学生关注生活、热爱生活,让学生通过在快乐的英语学习氛围中,有兴趣并大胆学说英语句型,应用于生活,用英语告诉身边的人能根据不同的天气,穿着不同的服饰。
三、教学重点、难点
教学重点:听、说、读、写 rainy,windy,snowy;
教学难点:在实际情景中应用句型表达天气,以及根据不同的天气选择穿着不同的服饰
四、教学理论、方法和教具准备
1、教师准备与本册配套的单词卡片;
2、教师准备与单词相关的简笔画;
3、教师准备自己设计制作的写有单词的卡片。
五、教学过程设计(包括时间安排)
Step 1:Greetings T: Good morning (afternoon),boys and girls. Ss: Good morning(afternoon),Miss Chong. T: Today is a fine day, isn’t it ? Ss: Yes, it’s a fine day. T: How’s the weather today?
T: It’s fine today. Today, we’ll learn about“Unit 4 How’s the weather today? Lesson 23.” 设计意图:
Step 2:Presentation 1、Present three words. T: Let’s watch .What can you see in the video? We can see the rain, the snow and the wind. Listen, the wind is coming. How’s the weather today? It’s windy. (拿出教师卡片“windy”) T: It’s windy. Read “windy, windy, it’s windy” after me,
Ss: Windy, windy, it’s windy. (板书单词:windy 在四线三格中,i-in-win-d-y, windy) T: Look, is it windy? Ss: No. T: How’s the weather today? (拿出教师卡片“rainy”) It’s rainy. Read “rainy, rainy, it’s rainy” after me, Ss: Rainy, rainy, it’s rainy. (板书单词:rainy 在四线三格中,ai-rai-n-y, rainy) T: We have a friend on the spot! OK, look at the screen. Is it windy? Ss: No. T: Is it rainy? Ss: No. T: How’s the weather? Ss: It’s snowy. T: OK, read “snowy, snowy, it’s snowy.” after me, please ! Ss: Snowy, snowy, it’s snowy. (板书单词:snowy 在四线三格中,ow-now-snow-y-snowy, snowy.) T: How’s the weather today?
Ss: It’s windy. Ss: How’s the weather today?
G1:It’s rainy. How’s the weather today?
G2:It’s snowy. How’s the weather today?
Boys:…(增加操练次数,可以是教师和学生、学生和学生、组与组、男生和女生之间的互问互答。) 2、Open your books. Look, listen and repeat. 3、Guess what the teacher is drawing simple pictures T: Let’s guess how’s the weather today? Ss: It’s rainy/snowy/windy. 4、Present main sentence“Put on the ….”(示范:边说边做)
T: Yes. It’s rainy/snowy/windy. Put on the jacket/sweater/shirt. Ss: It’s rainy/snowy/windy. Put on the jacket/sweater/shirt. Step 3:Practice 5、Match the words with the pictures.(词图搭配) 6、Play a game and have a race about“put on the clothes”. T: I need some students. One selects the picture and asks you“How’s the weather today?”.You answer“It’s….Put on the….”
According to your order, the rest students on the platform take out the clothes quickly. The fastest one is the winner. 7、Open your books. Look, listen and repeat. 8、Pair work. 9、Role play.
Step4:Consolidation and extension 10、Consolidation(编对话) T: Take out your pictures what you have drawn and practise the dialogue. 11、Weather report T: Listen to the weather report and fill in the form. Ss: OK. T: Let’s check it. How’s the weather in Qilin/ Xuanwei/ …? T: Qilin rainy, put on the jacket . T: How’s the weather in Xuanwei/ Fuyuan …? S1:Xuanwei windy, put on the shirt. 12、Act a weather reporter.(学生边说,教师在对应的“天气”边总结,呈现“服饰”简笔画。)
Step 5:Summary 13、Care about others, make ourselves happy. T: Winter is coming. It will be colder and colder. You’d better put on warm clothes. Please care about yourself, your family and your friends. Care about others, make ourselves happy. Step 6:Homework 14、Tell everybody around you to put on different clothes, according to different weathers.
