The emphasis of this period will be placed on the important new words

expressions and sentence patterns. In order to make students understand these important points thoroughly, we can first get them to understand their meanings in the context and give the explanations about them .After that offer some practice to make students master usages. Some important new words and expressions ,such as surround, measure, confirm ,impress ,rather than ,are very useful. We ought to pay attention to them and design special exercises. 教学重点
