Step1 Greetings Greet the whole class as usual.

Step2 Lead-in

Introducethe Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st

Century Maritime Silk Road .

Step3 Reading Task 1 read the first paragraph and answer the two questions. Task2 draw the mind map of the passage. Task3 read the detailed information. Task4 answer the question. Task 5 Introduce the instruments----divide the students into two groups; one finds the working principles, the other finds the adjs. Then, check the answers. Step 4 Post-reading raise the awareness of the importance of science and technology.
