一、教学内容分析

本篇课文主要讲述的是来自不同国家的交流生由于文化和习俗的差异在交流过程产生的误解。文章总共5段，是夹叙夹议的文章类型，前3段是描述文化差异导致的误解，后两段式议论比较抽象，学生不容易理解，所以要花更多时间来处理。

教学对象：高二学生 课时： 1 二、教学目标

Learning goals:

1.Train the students’ reading ability , 2.know about different culture having different body language. Ability goals :

1.by scanning the text, get the main idea;

2.through careful---reading

to know some detail information. Emotion goals : master some culture is good for our communication with different people from different country. 三、学习者特征分析

高二学生具有一定的英语基础，但是我们学校学生英语基础薄弱，所以我计划先把课文里脊个外国交流生发生的误解作重点讲解，这样学生更易接受；其次，学生对课文中的人名不熟悉，所以课前重点要把课文中的人物名字给学生落实下来。

四、教学策略选择与设计

本课，导入部分我用英语歌曲，“只要你快乐，就请拍拍手”。

根据标题和图片预测课文内容，激起学生的好奇心去学习课文

用scanning,来检测预测内容是否正确

用careful—reading ,分段落阅读寻找信息，化难为简

用discussion 来检查学生对课文的理解以及掌握。

用homework 来进一步巩固所学知识以及对Language points 进行预习。

五、教学重点及难点

教学重点：了解不同文化背景的不同肢体语言；

课文中出现的几对误解

教学难点：课文中的人物关系以及发生误解的过程

推断总结课文中出现的不同国家的不同肢体交流方式。
