Step I Revision of Passive Voice Get the students to recall the grammar structure of passive voice, then finish the exercise and check the answers. 1.

a. 用法

1.表此刻正在进行的被动动作。

e.g. She is being examined by a doctor.

2.表现阶段正在进行的被动动作，但此动作在此时此刻不一定发生。

e.g. A new station is being built.

3.表经常性的被动行为，常和

always, constantly 等词连用。

e.g. He is always being praised by the teacher.

4.与部分情态动词连用，表对正在发生的动作的推测。

e.g. He may be being scolded(责骂)by his father at the very moment.

b. 没有进行时的被动语态

一些表示状态、心理活动、拥有、存在等的动词(和主动语态一样)一般不用进行时被动语态，常用一般现在时被动语态表示此时此刻或目前主语承受谓语动词的动作。

e.g.

小王,过来,有你的电话。

Xiao Wang, come here. You are being wanted on the phone. （错）

Xiao Wang, come here. You are wanted on the phone. （对）

e.g. 足球现在越来越流行了, 换句话说,它被越来越的人喜爱。

Football is becoming more and more popular. In other words, it is being loved

by more and more people. （错）

Football is becoming more and morepopular. In other words, it is loved by more and more people.（对）

其他形式表示被动结构

be + under / in + 名词

=be + being + done 4.
