一、教材分析

本单元为外研社New Standard English《新标准英语》（一年级起点）六年级下第五模块第二单元的内容。话题是描述发生的事情。核心教学项目是通过听、说、做等训练，让学生能在词语与相应事物之间建立联想，乐于感知并积极尝试使用英语，积极用英语描述身边发生的事情。

二、学生分析

六年级学生已具备一定的知识储备、搜集资料和运用学习工具的能力，有个别班的学生敢于大胆开口说英语，学习认真、积极进取，乐于在课堂上完成老师布置的各项作业，课堂气氛活跃。但由于基础薄弱，有少数学生遇到困难，学习态度不太端正，自制力较差，注意力不够集中等，这都有待于端正学习态度，掌握良好的学习方法，使之有所进步。所以我在教学中，以培养学生的创新精神和实践能力为重点，面向全体学生，始终把激发学生的学习兴趣放在首位。
