Reading part of module introduces means of transportation in Beijing and it also contains some words about transportation and going out. Students can learn several words about transportation and practice their four basic language skills by leaning this part. Meantime, they can also know about the traffic situation in Beijing and they can feel the traffic problems deeply. Teaching aims:

1. Knowledge aim: 1).To learn some words about traffic

2).To understand the main idea of the text 3).To learn to read with some reading strategies

2. Ability aim: Improve students’ integrated abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing

3. Emotional aim: 1) To know about traffic situation and problems in big cities
