[教学目标]

1.知识与技能

(1)学生能够理解故事内容。

(2)复习和巩固句型:How tall are you? I am....meters. How heavy are you? I am .... kilograms. A is ....centimeters taller than B. 并且能在情景中正确运用以上句型。

(3)学生能够理解“goal keeper”,“football needs teamwork”,“reach”,“excellent”,“catch”的意思。

(4)大部分学生能够读、复述和表演故事。

(5)学习一些阅读策略,培养学生的批判性思维。

2.过程与方法

小组合作学习,分角色朗读,表演。

3.情感态度与价值观

(1)激起学生的英语学习和阅读的兴趣

(2)知道每个人都有不同的专长,学会团队合作。

(3)了解足球的相关知识。

[教学重难点]

1.重点:大部分能读懂故事内容,能分角色朗读故事。

2.难点:培养学生良好的阅读习惯和学生的批判性思维,部分学生能够表演故事。

一、Pre-reading

1.Greeting.

2.Watch a video.

T:Today, I bring a wonderful video. Do you want to watch it? S:....

T:What are they doing?

Ss:....

T:Do you like playing football?

S1,2,3,4:....

T:Any body know something about football?

S:....

T:OK, it doesn’t matter. Let’s see it.

T:This is our story today.Look and guess:What can you see on the pictures? What else do you want to know about the story?

二、While-reading

1.Reading for main idea.

Q1:Who needs a goalkeeper in this story?

Ss:Listen,watch and answer.

Q2:Who wants to be the new goalkeeper?

Ss:Follow the flash one by one sentence.

2.Reading for details

Q1:Who can’t be a goalkeeper? Why? Who can be a goalkeeper at last? Ss:Scanning reading and discuss in every team.

Q2:Why does hippo be the goalkeeper at last?

Ss:Read together and find out the reason.

3.3.Find out and write down that what you don’t know.

4.Role plays

5.Try to retell the story.

三、Post-reading

1.Retell the story.(According the board design.)Rope plays

2.Act out the story.

3.Summary.
