Analysis of teaching material

Analysis of students This lesson is the first period of unit 2 Is this your book? in English Grade 4. The topic of this unit is about school things. It is close to students’ lives and can arouse their interests. Students begin to learn some school things. They can understand them quickly. Students are in Grade 4. They learn English for one year. They are eager to learn. So I provide some games and competitions to attract their attention. Knowledge aims In this unit, (1)Students learn to listen, read, say and use the sentence structures:

Is this your…? (2)Students learn to say and understand the words: schoolbag, book, pencil, your book Ability aims Emotional aims Teaching aims To train the students to use the words and sentence structures in the real situation, and to train the students word in groups.

To arouse students interests in learning English and help them understand the school things better.
