一、Teaching Aims：

1.能够听、说、认读单词：dining hall, gym,grass,…years ago,…months ago,last year,last month.

2．能够听懂、会说、会读本课句型：There was/were…We didn’t have…及其一般过去时态的具体运用。

3．能在实际情景中灵活运用句型描述城市或处所现在的变化。

4．培养学生用英语表达交流的兴趣和能力。

二、Teaching contents：

在第三单元学习了一般过去时的基础上，学习There was/were…等扩展句型。

三、Teaching key points and teaching difficult points：

1．Grasp the usage of key sentence patterns:There was no gym in my school twenty years ago. Now there’s a new one in our school. We didn’t have...and the new words :dining hall, gym,grass,…years ago,…months ago,last year,last month

的正确发音和认读。

2．能运用本单元句型和单词进行对话并完成Find the mistakes。

五、Teaching Design ：

Review T：Good morning,boys and girls! Ss:Good morning,teacher! T:Nice to meet you! Ss:Nice to meet you,too. T: Where did you go last weekend?

Free talk among the teacher and

students,lead to the efficient study. 借助free talk复习所学单词和句型，避免了单纯复习单词背诵句子的枯燥，也激发了学生的兴趣，也检测学生对所学知识的掌握情况。

Presentation 用学生熟悉的人物和地点在教师创设的情境组织教学，创设情境，引中先复习以前的单Some pictures 出将要教学的单词。在呈词，后理解、学习新of place. 现新单词时注意发音和口的单词，初步达到认型的示范，并让学生注意知和认读的要求。

模仿语音语调。

T points the wall :What’s this?Ss回答：It's a wall．T接着问：Can you spell it?Ss拼读单词wall，T板书wall,然后将wall改成hall，让学生试读单词。告诉学生：hall是大厅.礼堂的意思.。Ss拼读单词hall。接着T在hall的前面加上dining，T追问：What 让Ss猜dining hall的意思。do you often do in the dining hall?Ss回答：We often have lunch in the dining hall．

教学单词ago及词组... years ago, ... months ago.

T先说几个句子让Ss感受。T: I went fishing three days ago. I went to Beijing two years ago. 板书并教读ago。

让Ss说出... years ago, ... months ago的意思并造句。

3.教学句子. There was no gym in my school ten years ago. 让学生通过两张新Now there's a new one in our school．

旧学校的图片展示，出示两张新旧学T:教师出示两张新旧学校的图片：Look!Where is it ?Yes,It's our 让Ss理解ago，并掌校的图片

4T:Pay attention to There be 句型，there 是个近视眼。根据就近原则，be动词单复数形式要跟there be 之后的第一个主语保持一致，如果第一个主语是单数或不可数名词用is，如果第一个主语是复数用are。

1.Look and say,What are the differences? 让学生看图片比较学校的今昔。

Consolidation There were no computers in our school ten years ago. Now there are many computers in our school．

There were sixteen classes in our school ten years ago. Now there are thirty classes in our school．

Let's say. 1.让学生根据提供的单词造句子，将知识转换为能力。2.实际运用所学的语言。结合已学的单词和句型形成对话。

2.Find the mistakes. 展示图片并圈出T展示Find the mistakes 图片，先让学生独立阅读这段话，然后圈出Find the mistakes. Ss说出的找一个写一个。

图画中与描述不符之处，最后全班讲评订正。

2.Let’s write.(写一写自己的过去、现在及将来) eg：Six years ago, I was short and fat. I had short hair. I was quiet. I didn’t like winter, because I couldn’t go cycling.

Now, I am tall and thin. I have long hair.I am active in class. I love to ice-skate, so I like winter. One day,I want to be a doctor/ teacher/ businessman/ plice officer.
