Teaching Aims:

3. 通过本课学习,引导孩子们热爱动物,与动物交朋友,与动物和谐相处。

Step2: Presentation:

Teach the word elephant. Ask students look at the screen. elephant, the elephant. Shows the picture of an elephant. And learn to the sentence: Look at the elephant. 定冠词the 在本句中的发音。

(设计意图:创造去动物园的情景,将英语学习生活化。) 2) Teach the word big. Let Ss look at the elephant. And say: It’s so big. Then spell the word. Let Ss chang letters into a new word and use big to make a sentence.

3) Shows the picture of a small elephant. Teach the word small. Let students say :
