A Let’s try & Let’s talk

能够在图片和教师的帮助下理解对话大意，并回答读后问题。

(1)Review“There be”句型。出示图片，让学生说一说。

Eg:There is a grass playground in our school now. There is a gym in our school now.

(2)出示图片比较，运用句型There was no gym in the school twenty years ago.

Now there is a new one in the school. 1.

承接上面，学习“Let’s try” . (1)

(1) 承接Let’s try,谈论Grandpa’s school .T:There was no library in Grandpa’s old school.There was only one small building near the hill. (2)出示星星的图片，学习star-stars . T：

Can you see the stars during the day? Ss:Yes, I can./No, I can’t.

T: I can see stars at night. (3)承接上面，学习easy. T:Can you spell “star” ? It’s so easy .

(4) T: I like the star,but I like the moon too .I’m going to visit the moon.Do you know who have been to the moon in 1969?

出示图片介绍美国人于1969年大约花费5天的时间到达月球。学习句子The Americans took about five days to get there in 1969.

(4)承接(3)，以上信息可以通过网络去寻找。学习look up ,Internet .

T:There were no computers or Internet in my old school.But nowI can look it up on the Internet. 3.(1)带着问题去听Let’s talk。

Was there a library in grandpa’s old school? What was grandpa’s school like? When did the Americans go to the moon?

(2)自读课文，画出问题的答案。

(3)核对答案。让学生说一说自己的答案。

(4)听录音，跟读。

表示：某地有某物或某人

就近原则: be动词单复数形式要跟there be之后的第一个主语保持一致，如果第一个主语是单数或不可数名词用is，如果第一个主语是复数用Progress are。
