Lesson 10 Seasons and weather

1.教材分析：本单元是本册的第二单元,单元主题是季节,其中主要讲授各个季节的天气、衣着，讨论自己喜欢的季节及活动。单元目标是通过本单元的学习使学生能够掌握本单元内涉及到的语言知识点即各个季节的天气、衣着、食物、活动，提升学生的语言交际能力，提高现实生活中获取信息的能力。

2.学情分析：四年级学生通过三年多的英语学习,无论是在理解能力还是实际操作方面都具备了一定水平,但是作为中年级而言,学生对英语学习兴趣的保持仍然是十分重要的,因此在进行教学设计时教师应该面向全体学生,要让学生体验到形式多样的学习方法,注重培养学生的语言运用能力和自主的思维能力,增强他们的课堂活动参与意识,在注重语言知识培养的同时更加注重了情感的交流。经过本课的学习，学生能够流畅的描述四个季节的天气情况，并能够就喜欢的季节及原因、衣着、活动进行问答，而且能够流畅的操练以下句型：

a.What season do you like? I like spring/summer/autumn/winter. b．What do you do in spring/summer/autumn/winter? I ...... c．What’s the weather like in spring/summer/autumn/winter? It’s...... 3.重难点：

重点a.能够听说认读句子:

What season do you like? What do we do in the four seasons? 能够根据关键词的提示对各个季节进行描述。

难点b.学生通过师生交流，生生交流，仿读、视频等方式让学生在语境中自然的获取本课信息，能够对家乡四季进行介绍描述。

4.教学目标（知识目标、能力目标、情感目标）

知识目标：能够询问表达喜欢的季节及活动，能在实际情景中运用。

能力目标：能够通过对短文的模仿训练，让学生的发音更为准确、地道。

情感目标：培养学生细心观察，热爱大自然，热爱家乡的情感。

Step1.Warm-up 1.

师生交流Greetings. T:Good morning,boys and girls.Nice to meet you. S:Good morning,teacher.Nice to meet you,too. T：What’s the weather like today? S:It’s sunny and warm.(学生根据实际情况回答练习关于天气的单词。）

生生问答引出新课：Which season is it? It’s spring/summer/winter/autumn. 3.

看图片猜出家乡枣阳，欣赏Seasons in ZaoYang.

Step2.Presentation（今天我们将会从以下五个方面对四季展开学习，weather/clothes/colour/food/activities）

T:What can you see? S:Flowers and butterflies. T:Which season can you guess? S:It’s spring. T:Please describe spring with a key word. S:green/lovely/beautiful/sunny/warm/nice/colourful,发散学生思维。教师根据学生的描述把单词一一粘贴。

T：Good job.What can you do in spring?(学生自己思考Activities in spring) S:I can go on a picnic/go hiking/play sports/climb mountains. T:What can we eat in spring? S:Fruits and vegetables. T:What clothes do you wear in spring? S:Shirt and pants/Shirt and skirt.... The whole year's work depends on a good start in spring.(一年之计在于春)We should cherish our time. 老师结合实际生活，问天气，问穿着，再到问现在这个季节里你干什么？激活了学生说的欲望，训练了学生的发散思维能力，复习了天气、衣着、活动，为学生下一个“说四季”的活动打下了基础。

T：What’s the weather like in summer? S:It’s sunny/hot. T:What can you do in summer? S:I can go swimming/go fishing/go boating/go to the beach. T:We can swim in the pool,but we can’t swim in the lake.(对学生进行生命安全教育，珍惜生命，远离水源）

T:What can we eat in summer? S:We can eat watermelons and ice-cream in summer,we can drink cold juice. T:What clothes do you wear in summer? S:I wear shorts and T-shirt. 按照以上的教学思路，分别围绕weather/clothes/colour/food/activities这些方面进行其他两个季节的学习推进。

B:I like....... A:What can you do in......? B:I can....... A:What's the weather in ...... ? B:It's....... Group Reading，Find answers. What clothes do you wear(穿) in spring/summer/autumn/winter? Step4 拓展运用

1.Talk about your favourite season and the reason.

拓宽学生知识面。（Enjoy a video about seasons）

学生自主检测教学重难点，通过阅读文章提高学生获取信息的能力。我有意让学生带着问题阅读，由句型延展拓展到篇章训练，渗透学生对文章的整体把控能力。

Step6 Homework 1.

To cite out the outdoor activities we can do in these days.(列出我们最近一段时间能做的户外活动) 2.Draw a picture,write something about the season you like and the reason.画你喜欢的季节并说明喜欢的原因。
