Basic and accustomed rule 1:从时间状语上去判断时态



The

past tense (一般过去时态)

last month, yesterday, two hours ago, just now, the other day, in 1945, then…



The present tense (一般现在时态)

today, now, at present, often, every day… 

The Present Perfect Tense (现在完成时态)

so far, since, in the past 5 years ,by now, up to now…



The future tense (一般将来时态)

next week, tomorrow , in the future, soon…
