Step 1: Lead-in Ask students to think about what humour is and then share a video with them to feel it Step2: Pre-reading 1.Ask students who he is in the video and how much do they know about him 2.Let students to look at the pictures beside the text and the title of the article 3.Invite students to guess what the article is about Step3:While-reading 1.

Skimming Ask students to go through the passage and find out whether they are right and what the main idea of each paragraph is 2.

Scanning 2.1.

Ask students to read paragraph three together and fill the blank with the picture as a tip 2.2.

Play a game with students (They should choose a letter from the screen and then ask the question showed behind the letter.If they are right ,they can get the points, If not , other can do it again) 2.3.

Show some pictures of some disable people but who are famous because their

positive attitude towards life to arouse students’ feeling of cherishing our present life and being positive when facing problems in life

Step5:Post-reading 1.

Invite students to share what they have learned from this passage 2.
