To use the words and expressions the students have learned in this unit to make up some dialogues about food they like or dislike. Teaching difficult points: To use the words and expressions the students have learned in this unit to make up some dialogues about food they like or dislike. To write a short essay about healthy eating Teaching aids:Multi-media. Teaching procedures: Step1 Lead-in Read and review the words and expressions of the reading part. Step2 Find words and expressions from the text that mean the same. A game Who am I ? In this part, teacher tell the meanings of 6 words and expressions, the students are asked to answer them actively. Step3 Fill in the blanks with words from the left box and paraphrase the italicized parts using the prases from the right box. In this part, the students are asked to do the exercise first,then check the answers.After filling it ,ask them to read the short passage. Step4 Do the underlined letters in each group have the same pronunciation? Tick the odd one out.Then check if the words in each group refer to the same kind of food. Cross out the odd one and give your resons. In this part,the teacher can show some pictures of each group to the students,and teach the words then ask them to finish the exercise. Step5 In pairs make up a dialogue about food you like or dislike,using the expressions below and as many food words as you know. In this part,give the students the expressions and food words.Then ask them to make a dialogue in pairs and act it out. Step6 Writing

After learning much about food and healthy eating, ask the students to write a short essay about healthy eating.
