一、教学内容分析

本单元的中心话题是“英语幽默”。这是一篇描写人的文章，介绍了世界著名的电影演员、戏剧大师查理·卓别林以及他在无声电影时代的精湛表演;特别是在著名影片<<淘金记>>中，他运用滑精,夸张的动作表情,让观众在捧腹大笑之余，体会在琐屑、卑微之中所隐含的深刻本质。阅读教学是单元整体教学中的重要内容。这是本单元的第二课时(第一课时的内容是:warming-up ,using language中的reading and speaking)。新课标教学原则指出：高中英语课程要特别着重培养学生用英语获取信息、处理信息和传达信息的能力、分析和解决问题的能力以及用英语进行思维和表达能力。

二、教学目标

Knowledge Aim: Master important words and expressions appeared in this reading passage. Get a general understanding of the story of Charlie Chaplin.

Ability Aim: Learn to find the main idea of each paragraph. Learn to describe or interview a person. Emotional Aim: Have a taste of English humor, and get a general idea of types of humor. Arouse students’ interest in English language, film and etc.

Stimulate students’ interests of learning English by reading and acting and acting this play.

大部分的这个水平的学生对英语的学习兴趣不大，但仍然有学习英语的愿望和需求，，想要学习更多的英语知识。所以对这篇阅读文章，他们理解起来可能不是太难，主要考虑要鼓励学生。

一、教学成功之处

1．为本节课自制的教学课件，节约了课堂时间，增大了课堂容量，课堂显得紧凑有序。课件中采用的些生动形象的图片，活跃了课堂气氛，调动了学生参与阅读的积极性，使学生读后对卓别林特别是他扮演的小流浪汉留下了深刻的印象。

2.整个教学过程的设计符合学生的认知规律，由易到难的活动设计引导学生进行探究式学习。在老师指导下学生逐渐参与阅读的各个师指导下学生逐渐参与阅读的各个活动，体现现了学生学习的主体地位和教师的主导作用，通过师生互动、个体竞争、生生合作、分组讨论等形式在整堂课中贯穿着对学生各种阅读能力的培养。

二、教学不足之处

由于学生的个体差异，所设计的每一项活动并不能确保全体学生都热情参与英语水平低的学生还是未能深刻理解文章，一些学生不适应节奏快的教学过程，未能对所有问题进行积极思考。在以后的教学中，我会将回答简单问题的机会更多地留给中下层学生，以期逐渐调动他们的学习积极性。
