Three little pigs 一、Teaching Aims 1.
Knowledge Objectives:
(1)
Ss can understand the main ideas of the short play and know how the wolf breaks into the houses.; (2)
Ss are able to master the process of the three pigs’ building the houses. (3)
Ss are able to under the difficult words: straw, brick, stick.
2. Ss are able to express their ideas correctly. 3.Moral Objectives:
(1)Learn to listen to music and enjoy the music. (2) After learning the short play, Ss learn to have a passion for labor and do things realistically. 二、Teaching Important Points:
Ss are able to understand the ideas of the short play. 三、Teaching Difficult Point:
Ss are able to understand the process of building the houses and how the wolf breaks into the houses. 四、Teaching Procedures: Step 1 :Pre-reading
1.
Guessing the game: It is fat and it has big ears. It likes sleeping(睡觉).

It can grunt like this “hum, hum(哼哼)…”(pig)

After guessing the game,the teacher asks the Ss to watch pictures of the pigs; 3.
Then introduces the writer of the short play; 4. The teacher shows the pictures of houses to the students and asks: What can you see? Guide the ss to know the houses. While-reading: 1.
Ask the students to read the first part: what is house like? And show the pictures and let the students read and tick.(straw or stone) 2.
After reading, the teacher asks several students to read the play and guide them to say:The first little pig built his house out of straw; it is very easy and quick. 3.
Show the pictures of houses made of straw and help them understand the meaning of straw. 4.
After teaching the first part, let the students read the second part and answer: What is the house like? 5.
After reading , the teacher shows :The second pig’s house is made of sticks, and then let them enjoy the pictures of the houses about sticks, and says : The sticks are very heavy 6.
Then teach the third part in the same way. 7.
Show the pictures of the three houses and asks: which is the

strongest house? Why? 8.
Then ask the Ss to listen to the tape and say: What happened? And what did the wolf say? 9.
Ask several ss to perform the short play on the plat form, one acts the wolf, the other two acts the pigs. 10.
Ask the students to compare the three houses and say which the strongest house is.
11.
The teacher shows the picture and say: The wolf came to the straw house. What will he say? And then let them read the part and answer the question. 12.
Then teach other part in the same way. Post-reading: 13.
After learning, guide the students to discuss: What will the first pig and the second pig do? 14.
Then enjoy the music and appreciate the photos of the buildings. 五、Blackboard Design:
