该单元的主题为Buying new clothes，要求学生理解并学会运用的核心词汇是：button, zip, pocket等，学生能够利用核心词汇描绘各式各样的衣服，主要句型是Which…

do you like, the…one or the…one?及回答I like the …

one。要求学生能够进行对两个及以上的衣服进行选择的问答，表达自己的喜好，学会在商店里进行购买衣服时进行对话。

除了核心词之外，本单元还需要复习有关各个不同季节的衣服，描述自己喜爱和想要购买的衣服。另外，需要掌握和操练的词汇和词组包括try on, look great on...等，这些词组在日常交流中实际使用价值较大，可结合学生的实际情况进行教学，使学生可以做到运用这些词汇进行流利地交流。音标教学方面，对[ɔ:][ɔ]进行发音的归类，让学生能看到音标想到字母或字母组合。

在情感表达方面，通过描述自己喜爱的衣服和希望购买的衣服，并且体会买衣服的整个过程，让学生体会衣服的重要性，学会珍惜和保护自己的衣服，不能随意弄坏弄脏衣服。在家里要力所能及的做一些洗衣服之类的家务，帮助爸爸妈妈分担。在皇帝的新装这个故事里体会衣服不应该成为虚荣心的外衣，应该更加注重内在修养的培养而不是仅仅注重外在。

通过本单元的学习，学生能：
