教学设计

一．教学内容设计 This is a grammar class of an important sentence structure: the emphasizing sentence structure. The period will include two important parts. Part one is about the basic structure of the sentence structure and its usages. Part two is about how to correctly understand the differences among this structure and the other sentence structures. 二．教学目标

To understand the meanings and usages of the sentence structure. 2.

To learn about the differences among this structure and the other sentence structures. 三．教学重、难点

1. To enable students to learn about usages of the sentence structure. 2. To enable students to skillfully judge the sentence structure. 四．教学过程

Ⅰ. Presenting: the teacher presents the basic sentence structure and remind of the noticing usages firstly.

结构：It is/was +被强调部分+that/who…句型

Ⅱ. Explaining: giving out a sentence as an example and help analyze the sentence constituents.

Example：

Joe met an old friend in the park yesterday. (1)强调主语

It was Joe who/that met an old

friend in the park yesterday.

(2)强调宾语

It was an old friend who/that Joe met

in the park yesterday.

（3）强调状语

It was in the park who/that Joe met an old

friend yesterday.

It was yesterday who/that Joe met an old

friend in the park.

用法总结：

（1）强调句的时态只有两种：即一般现在时（is）和

一般过去时

（was）；

（2）强调句中被强调部分通常是原句的主语、宾语和

状语；

（3）强调句中的连接词一般只用who(指人）、that

（指人或物）。

1. It was at 7 o’clock that he came back.

强调句

2. It was 7 o’clock when he came back.

定语从句

3. It is known to all that paper was first made in

China.

注：如果把“It is/was … that” 去掉，原句意思完整，成分完整，那么此句就是强调句，反之不是。

Ⅲ.Exercising: after learning about the

basic sentence structure and usages, let students do some exercises to consolidate understanding. 1. They will have a meeting tomorrow.

It is a meeting that they will have

tomorrow. 2. I painted the door white.

It was white that I painted the door. 3. Mr. Smith gave a new pen to me.

It was me that Mr. Smith gave a new pen

to.

Ⅳ. Homework: Giving out several blank filing questions to do more exercises.
