教学内容及学情分析

本课是人教版小学五年级下册第三单元的第五课时，本单元主要教授rules这一话题。前几课时同学们学习了班级规则及家庭规则，本课时呈现的是社会规则。在公共场所经常遇到的一些不遵守社会公共规则的人，通过同学们劝阻这些不良行为的场景，引出要学习的目标语言，让学生感知、模仿、学习和体验，最终引导学生能够运用目标语言：You must…You mustn’t…能够结合本核心句式，结合真实情景替换其中部分信息，用must和mustn't谈论“必须”做什么，“禁止”做什么。

五年级学生求之欲望强烈，对新鲜事物开始探索追求，有强烈的表现欲。初步认识自我，能够清楚的表达自己的感受和见解。会分析社会中的事物和现象。对自己及他人的行为对错已有明显的判断意识。

教学目标

1. 能够听懂、会说并认读三会单词：must, cross, street, green light, grass。 2. 能够听懂、会说并认读功能性语句：You must keep off the grass. You mustn’t cross the street. You mustn’t spit on the ground. You mustn’t pick the flowers. You mustn’t litter. You must take good care of young children.

3.初步掌握take good care of young children, keep off the grass, pick flowers, spit on the ground和litter等短语的含义，并能判断这些行为正确与否。

4. 会使用You must…You mustn’t…来提醒劝告别人遵守各种规则。

5. 通过本课的学习培养孩子自觉遵守社会规章制度的意识。

教学重点：

词组wait for the green light, pick the flower, spit on the ground, litter, take good care of, cross the street 的使用。

教学难点：

情态动词must的用法

注意：must的否定式must

not可以缩写成mustn’t

，表示禁止、不允许。

创设情境: 结合学校的善文化，谈论如何在日常生活中做一个好公民。Let’s discuss. “How to be a good citizen in your social life?”

T：Li Yan, Kate and their classmates want to visit the culture of Goodness of our school --- Shanmenkou Primary school. But on their way to our school, they see some good or bad behaviors. Let’s see what you must do or you mustn’t do.

We can be happier and happier with the rules. So we have rules everywhere, in the school, at home, and we have rules in our social society. So rules make our life better.

Boys and girls, today you did a good job. Today we talked about some social rules. I think all of you know about how to be a good citizen in our social life.

To be a good citizen, what must you do? (Let students conclude.) And if you obey the rules, well, our city, our country will become greener and greener. It can make us healthy.
