1 By using courseware,teaching tools,students can listen ,read ,say and write the six words:January,February,March,April, Mayand June. 2 Through making sentences, asking and answering practice,students can understand and use the patterns:“When is your birthday?My birthday is in April.”proficiently. 能力目标:
1 Through listening , reading, role play,making dialogues students can listen , read and act out the dialogues even to recite the context. 2 Through learning the whole text,we can get the students write a little composition about themselves according to their learning in the class. 情感目标:
Through asking each other the date of birth ,we can enhance friendship between classmates. 教学重点:
1. Learn to use the pattern: “When’s your birthday?My birthday is in April.”
2. Learn to use the dialogue in part “learn to say” and try to write the same composition according to the teachers’.

In order to avoid the one-sidedness of comprehension, I gave stude
nts more time to read and practice. The total goal was to develop students’ ability to write an article about his/her birthday. To serve this goal, I designed some questions for them to answer in advance and got students to talk and make a conclusion.
