一．教材：

本教材以发展语言实践能力为主线，以培养学生用英语进行交际的能力为最终目的，同时注意学习兴趣的培养。根据这一要求和学生的整体认识水平，从知识教学、能力培养等方面考虑，我确立本课时的教学目标为：

1、Knowledge objects: ① Vocabulary: Three new words: rectangle, window, house ② Dialogues: --How many windows are there in the house? --There are two windows in the house. --What shapes are the windows? --The windows are rectangles. 2、Ability objects: ① Train students’ listening ability. ② Train students’ communicative competence. ③ Train students’ comprehension. 3、Moral objects: ①Stimulate students to love life. ②Stimulate students’ imagination. 4、Teaching key point: ①Master three new words: rectangle, window, house ②Master two dialogues: --How many windows are there in the house? --There are two windows in the house. --What shapes are the windows? --The windows are rectangles. 5、学情分析: 本节课先通过情境复习前几课的单词，该教师打算用知识迁移法来引出并学习本课新知识。

6 、教具准备: 自制卡片,图片，实物，多媒体

二. 教学方法： 讲授法，问答交际法，观察描述法，游戏练习法

三．教学程序：

为实现以上目标，我是这样设计教学过程的：

Step One: Greetings and warming-up: ①Watch a video. ②Teacher and students greet with each other. Step Two: Lead—in and presentation: 1. See-say: Teacher shows a robot. Students describe the shape of robot’s head/nose/body/mouth arms/legs. (review what students have learned and learn the new word‘rectangle’

and new dialogue‘What shapes are the___? The ____are rectangles.’. 2. See and find: Find ‘rectangles’ and say. 3. See-say: Teacher shows PPT. T:What shapes are the books/ cakes/ clocks? Ss: The books/cake/clocks are rectangles/ triangles/circles. 4.See-say: Teacher shows PPT. Show ‘rectangle’

and‘door’

and then the learn new words‘window’

and ‘house’. 5.See-say: Teacher shows PPT. Teacher and students ask and answer. Teacher leads to the new sentence pattern：‘--How many windows are there in our classroom?--There are _____windows in the classroom.’. 6.Look and say: T:Look at our classroom. How many doors/windows are there in our classroom? Ss: There are _____ doors/windows in the classroom. 7.Let’s read. 8. Listening exercises. 9.Ask& answer:

Teacher shows PPT. Look at the pictures and answer teacher’s questions. 10．Find the differences: Teacher shows PPT. Students look at the pictures carefully and find the differences between picture one and picture two. 11.See-count: Teacher shows PPT. Teacher gives students ten seconds to count. Then answer some questions. 12. Sublimation: Teacher shows PPT and we all enjoy a video. T: We can find many shapes in our life. Shapes make our life colorful and beautiful. 13. Let’s count!
