Animal Extinction

Knowledge goals: The Ss can use the newly-learnt words of unit4 to talk about the reason why so many animals are facing extinction and how to protect them from being hurt.

Ability goals:

The Ss can put the words and short phrases into real practice.

The Ss can write a composition using what they learned in this

class.

Moral & attitudinal goals:

In this class the Ss can be trained from listening, speaking, reading & writing aspects. The Ss can know the importance of protecting the wild animals & environment.

Teaching Methods: listening-based approach. Task-based approach, discussion , reading-based approach.

Teaching Steps: 1.

Lead in: set a picture. Let Ss say where the picture was taken? Why there would be a Geo-park in our hometown? 2.
