A Farewell Party(Recycle of Grade Six)

一、Teaching aims

A、Knowledge aims:

1、Enable students understand the context of a invitation about the farewell party. (When and where is it? What will you do in the party?)

2、Enable students review the words about food、drink and the gift.

3、Enable students review the phases about the hobby.

B、Ability aims:

1、Enable students use the sentence pattern“I will________.”to talk about the performance they will make in the party.

2、Enable students use the sentence pattern“I will buy some_____ to talk about things they will buy for the party.

3、Enable students use these above sentence patterns to write an invitation.

C、Emotional aims:

1、Let student know how to prepare for a party.

2、Improve the friendship between students and teachers during the preparation. 二、Teaching points:

Important points: Use the sentence pattern“I will ...”to talk about the farewell party and write an invitation.

Difficult points:Understand the meaning of some words and sentences in the text .Such as“We will say goodbye to each other.We will give prizes for the good students. ”

三、Teaching process:

(一)、Warming-up and revision

Sing the greeting song.

Free talk between teacher and students.

(设计目的:歌曲活跃课堂气氛、师生谈话拉近师生距离。)

1、Listen and answer:

Where is the party?

When is the party?

2、Read and underline the activities in the party.

3、Explain the new phrases in the text.

(设计目的:以不同的听、读任务检测学生对学生语篇的理解和把握关键信息的能力。)

(三)、Consolidation and Strengthen

1、Make a performance list

Discuss in group“What will you do in the party?I will_______.”

(设计目的:以小组合作完成节目单的填写,复习关于爱好特长动词词组,操练I will...句型。)

2、Discuss what other things you will prepare for the party.

(设计目的:不同的购物主题小组讨论What will you buy?复习食物、颜色、礼物类单词,操练I will buy some...句型。))

3、Write an invitation
