三年级的学生好动，活泼，由于之前大部分学生没有接触过英语，对英语保持一颗强烈的好奇心的同时，也对这一门新授的语言保持陌生感，所以教师在英语课上要充分调动学生学习英语的兴趣，使学生树立起信心从被动的学习状态转为我要学英语，我想学英语的学习状态。由于学生在unit1 已经学过了农场里的动物，对动物有了一定的认识，在复习的基础之上进行新授，会更易于学生的接受.

这一单元主要是动物园里的动物，以第一单元的知识为基础。

本课主要介绍了四种野生动物，tiger, bear, snake, and wolf; 句型It’s long. It’s short.

2 设计意图

Check students.

根据图片学单词，

学生们记忆更深刻，通过举例子来学习“er”的读音，学生能够认读带有“er”的生词。

学生通过数狼，来学习狼的复数，并自己总结狼的变形。这样印象更深刻。

根据bear 和pear 的读音探究ear 的读音。

及时反复复习新单词，使学生们记忆的更快更牢固。

学生们根据图片学习long 和short。

Summary. 听录音能练习学生们的听力，学生们带着问题去听课文，能够唤起学生们的注意力，并且还能够深刻理解课文的内容，印象更深刻。

通过提示猜动物，既能学习描述动物所用的词汇，还能复习动物名称，同时对下一环节的顺利进行做了铺垫。

学生描述动物，既可以锻炼学生用句子描述动物，

又可以锻炼学生的口语能力。

唱歌能够缓解压力，使学生们稍作放松，还可以复习词汇。

培养学生保护动物，爱护公物的习惯。

简单的回顾能够加深学生们的记忆，巩固所学知识。
