五、教学过程

Step1. Pre--reading

1.Greetings:Welcome to our class!

2.Enjoy a lovely song: Ten little Indians

3. Teach:How lovely!

4. Learn the numbers.

5. Play some games of the numbers.

6. Teach:How old are you?

7. Show the title.

Step2. While--reading

1.Make a dialogue.

2.Talk about the pictures.

(1) Who are they?

T: Who are they?

S: Mike, Helen, Tim, Uncle John, worker.

3.Guess:How old are they?

4.Watch and answer

T: How old is Mike/ Helen/ Tim?

S: Nine. / Eight. / Two.

5.Watch and find:

(1)Where are they? Teach:Welcome to Toy Museum!

(2)What does the woman say to the children? Teach:Here you are.

6. Read the text and look for their toys.

7.Read and dub.

8.Look and think:Different toys are for different toys.

9.Reading time.

10.Act out the story.
