一、教学分析

1、学生分析

本课的教学对象是六年级学生，经过前三年的英语学习，他们已掌握了一定的英语阅读能力，通过对本节故事课的学习将进一步培养学生的阅读策略，提高阅读能力，激发学习兴趣，提高学习效率。

2. 教材分析

本单元是关于健康的话题，为学生提供了许多有关健康饮食、个人卫生、锻炼和努力工作的有益信息。

本课是单元的一节故事课，故事内容关于Helen Keller的故事，放在单元结束的部分，作为这一单元的巩固和补充，帮助学生内化新知识点，培养学生的英语阅读兴趣和初步的阅读能力。

二、教学目标分析

1. 知识与技能目标：

学生能听懂并理解这个简单故事。

学生能用自己的话复述故事。

三、教学重难点分析

教学重点：学生能运用多种阅读策略理解故事内容，并能用正确的语音、语调朗读故事。

教学难点：学生能借助图片、提示词等帮助复述故事。

教师出示故事中的第一幅图，教师引导学生观察图片并说出自己观察到的内容

T:Yesterday, I asked you to read the story, so what do you know about Helen Keller?(Look at the picture1~3) S1: She is a famous writer.（板书）

T:Yes,she wrote a lot of books.She was a writer. S3:She was born in 1880 .

【设计意图】：通过对学生提问你了解关于海伦凯勒的哪些事情？可以初步了解学生的预习情况，在了解的过程中把故事中的新单词教授给学生。

T:You did a good job.Now What do you want to know about Helen Keller?Can you ask some questions? (播放幻灯片，给出学生提示词：where,why,who,what,when...）
