一、教材分析

本课是《新路径英语》（三年级起点）六年级下Unit 3 Lesson 3 It looks like a heart第一课时。本单元主要教学目标谈论如何描述事物形状以及使用句型“I like the orange one.”

“It looks like a star.”教学怎样为他人提供帮助及使用“Can I help you?”。同时教学有关事物形状的单词circle, square, rectangle, triangle, heart, star 以及

different shapes. 通过学习，能听懂、会说购物和及描述事物形状的相关句型，并能应用于日常生活。

二、教学内容

1、能够描述事物的形状。

2、掌握句型“I like the orange one.”“It looks like a star.”。

3、通过单词、句型学习，培养学生听力及表达能力。

4、够熟悉单词，句型，并根据图片进行单词，句型活动练习，提高学生学习英语的兴趣。

四、教学重难点

1、本课单词的正确发音和拼读。

2、熟练掌握和区分形状类单词。

3、能使用本课句型进行对物体进行描述。

五、教具准备

多媒体课件、实物、磁带，录音机等。

六、教学过程

Step1 Warm-up 1、师生常规问候。

2、复习上节课所学的重点内容，如何描述天气和城市。

Step2 Lead-in T: What’s this? Ss: It’s a bag. T: What colour? Ss: White. Step3 Let’s learn New words and sentences. 1、T: What does it look like? 引出look like的意思。

Ss：It looks like a …

引出单词circle, 教授发音书写。

(利用样的方法教授后面的单词

square, 及句型“It looks like a…”)

2、利用图片给出长方形，直接问形状，引出单词rectangle, triangle. 同时利用句型填空It looks like a…对单词进行练习。

3、单词对比：heart及star. 并区别一个是“心形”另一个是“星形”。

4、单词巩固，通过英汉互测,说指游戏及连线进一步巩固所学单词。

5、通过给出句型复习以前所学表颜色的单词并巩固本课所学句型。“Which one do you like?”

“I like the...one.”

“It looks like a ...”

学生两人一组，可根据老师PPT给出的物品或自行准备物品进行对话练习。

Step5 Listening practice

Listen and circle 1、学生先看，再说出单词

2、听并圈出所听到的单词。

3、再听一遍录音并核对答案。
