Help students learn to use attributive clauses. Procedures: I. Review the atrributive clause (I)- which, that, who, whom, whose. 1. Read the following sentences.

1). This is the book which / that/- you want.

2).He is the man whom / that、who/ - I saw yesterday.

3). Please pass me the book whose color is green.

4). The boys who are playing football are from Class One.

2.Introduce the Attributive Clause 3..Do some exercises. II. Help the students discover and use useful structures: The attributive clause < II> ( where, when, why, prep.＋which) 1)

When引导的定语从句修饰表示时间的名词，并在定语从句中作时间状语，相当于“介词

+ which”

where引导的定语从句修饰表示地点的名词，并在定语从句中作地点状语，相当于“介词+ which”。

Why引导的定语从句修饰

“reason”，并在定语从句中作原因状语，相当于“for+ which”。
