Unit4 Wildlife protection Learning about language 一、教材分析

随着经济的发展，环境问题越来越突出，人与自然如何和谐共处成为了我们必须面对的问题。作为中学生，应该了解野生动物保护知识，确立环保观念也是非常必要的。本环节围绕这一中心，设计安排了听、说、读、写活动。Reading是整个单元的核心部分，是上一课时Warming up的延续和升华。学生通过了解恐龙和渡渡鸟以及其它动物的灭绝原因，进一步意识到野生动物的生存环境日益恶化以及保护野生动物的行动刻不容缓。

二、学情分析

我所授课的班级是三甲集中学高一（14）班。通过和该班任课教师的交流，我了解到：该班学生英语基础薄弱，口语交际能差。虽然通过上一课时Warming up的学习，学生对于熊猫、华南虎等一些比较熟悉的濒危野生动物的现状已经有一定了解，但是还缺乏相关内容的学习，学生很可能对于动物保护这个话题讨论的热情度不够，调动学生的学习积极性并引导他们积极主动思考显得尤为重要。因此在处理这一堂课时，我选用了一些学生较熟悉的动物和句型，鼓励他们表达自己的观点，为下一课时writing打好基础。

通过听录音能继续巩固速读、概括比较等阅读技能，理解文章，突破固有的思维模式，提出新观点。

的非凡意义，产生保护动物，保护大自然的使命感，热爱生命，关注自然，关注人与自然的和谐。

帮助学生深入了解保护野生动物的重要性，思考动物重点
