Step 1 Warming Up—Attributive Clause competition 活动：定语从句复习竞赛游戏

(一)．语法知识（必答）：

1．引导非限制性定语从句的which可以指代前面的______ ，也可以指代前面__________ 。

2．先行词既有人又有物时，定语从句关系词用______不用which和______. 3．当先行词是表示时间的名词,如time，

day，

year，

month，

week等，同时又在从句中作状语时，定语从句需要用关系副词_____引导。

目的：激发学生兴趣。通过竞赛来复习定语从句关系词的用法，提起学生的兴趣，使学生觉得语法学习是有趣而不是乏味的。

在设计过程中，从语法，选择题，填空题到格言抢答，从简到难，从虚到实，层层推进。

Step 2 Join the sentences together with the Attributive Clause. （一）看图组句

给出学生所熟悉的老师，同学和学校的图片，让学生自己看图连接句子，使学生初步了解定语从句的用法。

目的：选材来自于学生所熟悉的题材，更能体现枯燥无味的语法其实也可以很有趣，也可以用在我们平时所要描述的东西。

Step 3 Correct the sentences according to the knowledge of the Attributive Clause.

目的：通过改错，让学生进一步熟悉定语从句连接词的运用。用歌词的形式表现出来，使学生明白定语的使用范围更加广。改错题与高考题型接轨，让学生在日常学习中了解高考题型并练习。

Step 4 Writing.

Join the passage with the attributive clause Our class is a big family. It consists of 27 girls and 25 boys. Most of the girls and boys are from the countryside. Miss Cai is our class teacher. She often gives us a lot of help. Weijinjing

is our monitor. Her body is very strong. Our class is a united class. I like studying in our class. 目的：短文所描述的是本班的情况，因此，学生一看就很有想做题的欲望。连接句子成文，使定语从句很好地用在英语写作当中。

Step 5 Homework 根据下列中文信息，完成英语短文（不必逐字翻译）。注意：尽可能多地使用定语从句。

A letter to Tom

我收到了你上周的来信。谢谢你寄的照片，我常常想起我们一起度过的时光。那座顶上有只海鸥的纪念碑真漂亮。你还记得那个湖吗？我们在那还照过一张相呢。和我们一起玩的那些小朋友还好吗？另外，我有一本绿色封面的书丢在你那了，请帮我寄来。

目的：更多的练习让学生对定语从句的使用更加熟悉。
