Step 1 Lead-in

Use the -ing form to fill in the blanks and guess some great persons and food, and lead in the -ing form. Step 2

Presentation Conlude the sentences including -ing form and divide them into two group.Figure out the two functions (-ing as subject and object) by observing them. Step 3 Practice 1.

Pairwork Tell your partners about your hobbies and dreams by using the following sentence patterns. Doing...is my hobby.

is what I like most.

is my dream.

is what I want to do most. Because doing... makes/brings/gives me ...... 2.

Describe the pictures with -ing form as object. Step 4 Conclusion
