Teaching important and difficult points: How to use this kind of Passive Voice accurately? Teaching procedures: 一、概念：

现在进行时的被动语态表示此时此刻某事正在被做，经常和时间副词now, right now, at present, at this moment等连用。

二、结构：

be + being+过去分词，即：is/am/are being done，is/am/are体现标准对照时间点为现在，并随人称的变化而变化；being体现进行时；being done体现被动语态。将现在进行时的主动语态变为被动语态的关键就是把be doing变为be being done. A. 陈述句：主语

(+not)+ am/is/are +being+过去分词….

B. 疑问句：疑问词+ am/is/are+主+being+ 过去分词…?

三、意义：

主语和谓语动词之间是被动关系,而且动作正在进行。

1.表示说话时正在进行的一个被动动作, 强调主语是动作的承受者

e.g. Look! The baby is being taken care of by her aunt.

瞧！那个婴儿正由他的姑姑照料着。

2.表示目前一段时间正在进行的一个被动的动作。

e.g. Many speeches are being held these days.

这一阵子许多讲座正在举行。

3.表示按计划或安排将要进行的一个被动动作

e.g. A party is being held tonight.

今晚将要进行一场圣诞晚会。

四、特殊用法

1. be + under / in +n. 的结构可以表示现在进行时的被动语态的含义。

e.g. ①The problem is under discussion now. = The problem is being discussed now. ②The telephone is in use. = The telephone is being used. 2. 一些表示“心理活动,拥有,存在”等动词，如have, want, need, love, 一般不用现在进行时的被动语态，而用一般现在时的被动语态。

e.g.

Joe, come here. You are wanted on the phone. 五、巩固练习：
