Step 2:Lead –in: T:Today let’s start to learn Chapter 1 Choosing my pet.

Let enjoy a show first.(a show of pets to review the animals we have learned). Step 3 presentation T: Wow, so many pets. They are so lovely. Let’s go to the pet shop to choose a pet. 1.

Arrive at the shop, then listen the sound of dog, learn the word ”dog”. Show picture and ask: What is this? Let the student answer: It is a dog.

Use the same way to lead out “cat”. Then practice the word and sentences. 3.

A riddle to lead out “ rabbit”.( It is small, it has long ears. It can jump. What is this?) Then practice the word and sentences. 4.

Do the action (fly ) then let the students guess: bird. Then practice the word and lead out : What is that? It is…

Learn the word “ that”. And compare with “

this”. Using some pictures near or far away from you to complain the usage of the sentences : What is this/that? 6.
