1. Teacher and students greet each other and organize a new lesson.

2. Play a game --- Running English Game. Show some words, phrases or sentences which the students have learnt before. Let the students look and say them together.

Purpose 互相问好，组织教学，融洽气氛。

以“奔跑吧---兄弟”这一流行的节目创编了一个“奔跑吧---英语”的游戏，复习旧知，导入新知，同时也活跃课堂气氛。

3) Enjoy time --- Show some of the pictures in the class. T asks Qs like: Who is he/she? Let the Ss answer together: He’s/ She’s …

4) Organize the students to work in pairs and practice the drills with the form of chant. A: …, …, who’s this …? B: …,…, he’s …

2. Show the pictures of Su Hai and Su Yang, then guide the students to learn the new word “twins”, then elicit the title --- Unit 8 We’re twins!

1) Watch the flash of the story, then choose who the children are in the story. 2) Listen and read the story after the tape. 3) Read, find and say.

Ss are required to read the story by themselves, try to find the answers of the Qs (Whose uncle and whose aunt, meanwhile learn the new words --- man and woman) 4) Look and find the sentences.

Show many sentences on PPT, let the students look and find the sentences in the story. 5) Say a chant about the story. 6) Ss are required to work in groups, try to act the story. 通过迈克和苏海，引出新句型，同时结合句型学习男孩、女孩两个新单词。

努力做到“词不离句”！

组织学生进行pair work，以chant的形式巩固学生对句型的掌握。

以故事中苏海和苏阳这对双胞胎，学习twins这个单词，让学生直观感受，并自然引出课题。

通过动画，学习了解本单元故事内容，激发学生学习兴趣。

注重引导学生模仿跟读。

通过组织自读课文, 拓展理解名词所有格的掌握,同时适时学习man and woman。

通过琅琅上口的chant，巩固对课文句型的掌握。

表演故事，激发学习兴趣。

2. Make and enjoy a little story book.

Ss look at the family photos of some of the students and try to practice the new drills in different ways.

Ss are required to look at the funny pictures, fill in the blanks in pairs, and finish the funny story, then enjoy or share the story. 转盘游戏，检验学生对本课时词汇句型的掌握情况，同时活跃气氛，训练学生把书本知识运用于实际生活中。

通过上面的听、说、读训练，最终落实到写，层层递进，让学生创编小故事书，而且设计了分层作业，让学生在活动中感受故事的乐趣，从而提高能力。
