Step 1 Greeting &Warm up

1. Greeting T: Good morning, class. S: Good morning, Miss Fu. T: Sit down, please. 2. Play a game:Magic eyes T: Do you like games? S: Yes. T: I like games too. Let’s play a game:Magic eyes.

If you see the English or the picture, read it, and if you see the cap, say “How beautiful!” . First,listen and repeat.(教授beautiful和How beautiful!) Now, are you ready for the game?

S: Yes. T: Let’s go!

Step 2 Presentation 1.

Learn the new words T:This is a magic cap. It can fly. Look! Where’s the cap? S: It’s on the box. （教授on,板书）

T: Where’s the cap now？

S : It’s under the box. （教授under,板书）

T: Where is it now？

S: It’s in the box.（教授in,板书）

T: Oh, the cap is not here. Where is it? Look!

S: It’s behind the box.（教授behind,板书）

T: Why can the cap fly? Look! What’s under the cap? Guess!

S: It’s a bird.

T: Good! A bird is under the cap.（教授bird,板书）

T: Look! The bird is not here. Where’s the bird?（出示课题Unit4 Where’s the bird?带读Where’s）You can use “It’s ...” to answer. （教授It’s ...,板书）

T:（师手拿小鸟图片）

Look! The bird is here! Flying, flying, where’s the bird? S: It’s on the desk.（教授desk,板书）

T: （师手拿小鸟图片）Where’s the bird now? S: It’s behind the chair.（教授chair,板书）

T: （师把书放在课桌里）Where’s the book? S: It’s in the desk. T: （师把书放在课桌下）Where’s the book now? S: It’s under the chair. 2.

Consolidate the new words (1)

Listen and do T: Let’s play a game with the book. Listen to me and do what I tell you to do. OK? S: OK! T: S1, put the book in the desk./ S2, put the book on the desk./S3, put the book under the chair./S4,put the book behind the chair. S1/S2/S3/S4: OK./ Yes./ All right. (2)

Play a memory game T: （播放：鸟飞到卧室）Look! The bird is in the bedroom now. Let’s play another game:memory game. For example, where’s the monkey? S: It’s on the bed. T: Remember the position of each item in 5seconds. Ready? S: Yes! T:Go! T:OK, time’s up! Where’s the Yo-yo? S: It’s on the desk. T: Now who can be a little teacher and ask? S1: Where’s the pencil? S2: It’s under the bed. T: Who can be the little teacher now? S1:Where’s the cat? S2:It’s in the box. T: Now who’s the little teacher? S1: Where’s the schoolbag? S2: It’s on the desk. T:Now let’s ask together. Where’s the book? S: It’s under the desk. (3)

T: Work in pairs, ask and answer about the pictures. Two minutes for you. A:Where’s the ...? B: It’s in/ on/ behind/ under the... T：（生生操练结束后播放：鸟飞走了）Oh, the bird is not here.

Step 3 Story time 1. Watch and circle T: （播放：鸟飞入教室）Look! The bid is here in the classroom. Where does the bird stay? Take out your worksheet. Watch the cartoon and circle the right answer. (播放课文动画)

T: Where does the bird stay? Tell me the number.
