1. Greetings: Good morning, boys and girls. Nice to see you again. How are you? 2. Free talk: What’s the weather like today?

When is your birthday? What’s your favorite fast food?

What drink do you like? What do you like to do in your birthday? 3. Listen to the tape and try to answer some questions: a. Whose birthday is it? b. Who are there? c. What’s Daming doing? d. What’s the dog doing?

4. Children open the book and read the text after the tape. 5. Understand the meaning of the sentences: Daming tries again. Simon’s dog runs in.

He is playing the trumpet, but then the telephone rings. 6. Listen and repeat the text again. 7. Practice in pairs: Read the text in role. Homework: Recite and copy the text.
