Go back to page 18, go through the text and pick out the sentences in the present perfect passive voice. After that, translate them into Chinese and then change them back into active voice.

Sentence 1 Over time I have been changed quite a lot. 随着时间的流逝，我已经被改变了许多。

Over time the designers have changed me quite a lot.

Sentence 2 I have been used in offices and homes since the 1970s. 自从20世纪70年代以来，我已经被应用于办公室和家庭。

People have used me in offices and homes since the 1970s.

Sentence 3 I never forget anything I have been told. 我从来不会忘记告诉我的任何事情。

I never forget anything that people have told me.

Sentence 4 Since the 1970s many new applications have been found for me. 自从20世纪70年代以来，许多新的用途已经为我开发出来。

(About 15 minutes)

Change the following sentences into the present perfect passive voice. Put the verbs into the correct forms. Students can work in pairs. One say the sentence, and the other change it into passive voice orally. The other students in the group make judgments.

STAGE 3, Consolidation (About 5 minutes) 1.

Correct the mistakes in the following passive voice sentences: 1)

Do exercise 3 at page 21 in the text book. Pick out one students and see if he / she can read this poem with proper rhythm and intonation. If not, correct him / her. Then let students read the poem and fill in the table below. Finally, encourage students to create their own poems according to the given form and read it to other group members.
