Story time

课时目标：

1.

复习三会单词和词组：

star, easy , look up, Internet, different, active, race, nothing, thought, felt, cheetah, trip, woke, dream;

四会单词和词组：dining hall, grass, gym, ago, cycling, go cycling, ice-skate, badminton.

复习四会句子：

There was no library in my old school. Tell us about your school, please. How do you know that? There were no computers or Internet in my time. Before, I was quiet. Now I’m very active in class. I was short, so I couldn’t ride my bike well. Now I go cycling every day.

2. 能读懂Story time 中的故事。

教学重难点：

1. 重点：复习本单元的单词和句子。

2. 难点：能借助图片读懂Story time 中的故事。

教学过程：

一. 热身（warm-up）

1. Sing the song

Changes in me.

二. 复习（Revision）

1. 复习三会单词和词组：star, easy, look up, Internet, different, active, race, nothing, thought, felt, cheetah, trip, woke, dream.

(1) 先抽读单词卡片，然后让学生看图说单词。

2. 复习四会单词和词组：dining hall, grass, gym, ago, cycling, go cycling, ice-skate, badminton.

(1) 教师出示图片，学生抢答说单词，抢答到的学生还要拼读出单词。

（2）全班齐拼单词。

（3）活动：Then and now

活动方式：学生两人一组就我们周围的变化进行对话，最后请一组学生到台前表演。如：

（1）A: There was no gym in our school two years ago.

B: Now there is a new one in our school.

A: Before I was quiet. Now I’m very active in class. How about you?

B: I was short, so I couldn’t ride my bike well. Now I go cycling every day.

三. 新课呈现（presentation）

1. 教学B. Let’s wrap it up.

(1) 教师讲解答题要求。

（2）学生独立填空。

（3）全班讲评订正。

2. 教学C. Story time.

(1) 教师指着插图，先做背景介绍：

T：

Look, Zoom and Zip are talking about changes. What are they talking about? Let’s read.

(2) 学生阅读故事，了解故事大意，画出不理解的单词、句子。eat raw meat, cook their food, help you cook, house robots, wash the dishes, look their meat, do the dishes, live on the earth, live in the sea, have a bright future, heal the world, make it better place.

(3) 教师播放录像，学生边看录像边理解故事内容。在理解故事内容的基础上，让学生模仿故事中人物的语音、语调朗读下面的句子，并说说句子的意思。

Cavemen often ate raw meat. In 2050, there will be house robots. They didn’t do the dishes either!

We should help the earth now, so birds will have homes and the forests will be healthy and green again. Before humans lived on the earth, whales already lived in the sea. If we change now, whales and humans will have a bright future.

Heal the world! Make it a better place! 四. 巩固和拓展（Consolidation and extension）

活动：环保小达人

活动方式：学生六人一组，制作一份英语版的保护环境的宣传海报。可以介绍动植物界及人类的生存危机，也可以介绍一些环保小举措，一起争当“环保小达人”。海报制作完成后，现在班级展示，评出奖项，如：“最佳创意奖”“

最佳版面奖”，最后选出一些作品进行全校展示。

五. 家庭作业（Homework）

1. 听录音，进一步理解故事内容。

2. 完成活动手册配套练习。
