一.教学目标:

1. 能初步会听、说、读并拼写单词:shout, eat, run, talk, sleep, library.

2. 能听懂、会读、会运用制止不当行为的指令:“Don't...”,并会用“I'm sorry.”来回答。

3. 能初步听懂,会说,会拼读词组: in the library

4. 使学生树立公共场合的基本文明礼仪观念,懂得遵守公共秩序,培养学生正确的人生观和价值观。

二.重点与难点:

能听懂、会读、会运用单词: shout, eat, run, talk, sleep, library, 并在适合的场合正确运用祈使句。

三.教具准备:名卡,积分卡,PPT课件,教学单词卡及图片。

四.教学过程:

Step1: Warming up

1.Greeting

T: Class begins!

Ss: Stand up!

T: Good morning, class.

Ss: Good morning, Millie.

T: Sit down, please.Today we will learn Unit2. Before class, you will be

divided into 4 groups.

G1/G2/G3/G4,if your answer is correct,you can get a point (a heart or a flower)for your group.

2.Quick response

T: Look at Millie. Hands up, hands down, Stand up. Sit down. Who can try? You should say "Let me try."

Ss listen and follow Millie.

Step2: Leading in

1.Ss sing a song together.

教授talk, don't (We usually use "Don't..."to ask sb not to do sth.) 2.Ss review some words and phrases. (教授shout)

Step3. Pre-reading

1.Present the words: run/ sleep/ eat

T: Today I'll tell you a story. One day, the rabbit and the turtle had a race in the forest. All the animals came to watch. Look,this is the rabbit and that is the turtle. The judge said, "One,two,go!" The rabbit ran very fast, but the turtle was very slow.(教授run) So the animals shout to him"Run, run, run!"

Ss: Run, run, run!

T:The rabbit was way ahead. So he decided to sleep for while.(教授sleep) He dreamed a sweet.(教授eat, I eat the sweet)In the meanwhile,the turtle went on running. He ran and ran. The judge woke up the rabbit. “Oh, no!”said the rabbit,“I slept too long.”The rabbit got up and ran as fast as he could. But it was too late. At the end, the turtle won the race!

T:Question: If you are a rabbit,think about "why didn't I win?"

2.Practice the words: sleep/ shout/ talk/ eat/ run/Don’t

Game1: read one three times/read them in a high/low voice

Game2: pass and say the words one by one.

Game3:I do you say, I say you do.(ask Ss to be a little teacher)

Game4:Use“Don’t...”to make a sentence. T shows “don’t”and “run/sleep/ shout/ talk/ eat”, Ss say ”Don’t run/sleep/ shout/ talk/ eat.”

Step4: While-reading

Presentation and practice

1.Q:Look at Yang Ling. Where is Yang Ling? A: In the library.(教授library)

2. Watch and circle

Q1: Who are in the library? A: B&C

Q2: Would Yang Ling like a sweet? A:B

Q3: What does Liu Tao do? A:B

Q4: What does Yang Ling say? A: shout, run, eat, talk, sleep.

Q5: What does Yang Ling say? A:Don't run./Don't shout./Don't eat./Don't talk./Don't sleep.

3.Let's read the story in different ways. (Open the book to Page12-13)

A. Read after the teacher.

B. Read it in groups.

C. Read it in roles,group of 4.

The second race: The rabbit should finish 3 tasks to find Yang Ling.. Task1:Happy train! (put the scrambled words in a right order)

Task2:Act out the story.

Task3:According to the pictures, Ss use “Don’t...” to make a sentence.

Step6: Summary

1.We learn five new words: sleep/ shout/ talk/ eat/ run

2. We learn two sentences: 叫别人不要做某事: Don’t... 回答时说: I’m sorry.

3.Now we know: Be good in class, please. Be good in the library, too.

1.朗读并背诵Story time的课文内容。
